I'm Jock Findlay and I've been associated with the advertising and graphic design industries in South Africa for a number of decades. Working mostly as a layout artist and on the production side of things, but always alongside excellent creatives - art directors, copy writers and graphic designers.

In 2005, when I realised that digital photography was gaining significant traction, I decided it was time to engage on a more creative level.

​

And SkyBlu Photography was born. Over the past 16 years I have polished, tweaked and refined my offering to the point where I deliver high end digital images. First and foremost I am a product photographer, but I love shooting

land and seascapes and also enjoy portrait work.

​

I have spent a lot of time developing my own style of bottled beverage photography - subject matter that is difficult to shoot because of it's

reflective properties. I find myself living, loving and working in the

Constantia Valley in Cape Town, South Africa - a well known wine

region. And so I guess photographing wine bottles came naturally.
